The first product was the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream in 03-Medium.
This product is more pigmented than a normal tinted moisturiser but sheer compared to a foundation. I prefer to use a BB Cream as it is lighter, fater to apply but still gives me the protection of SPF and the added moisture than if I used a foundation.
After the BB Cream I used my Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer in Soft Beige under my eyes, on the Bridge of my nose, Under my eyebrow arch and on the top of my cupids bow. I also made sure to cover the redness on my cheeks. I used my fingers to blend this into the skin before setting it with Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder in 005 Silky Beige.
Moving onto my eye look. As many of you may know E.L.F products are finally available in Australia through Kmart. I purchased the E.L.F Eye Primer for only $3.00 so put this on first using my ring finger as it has a softer touch over your eye. I patted on Essence stay all day long lasting eyeshadow in 02 Glammy Goes To...
Once this set I used Savvy by Db Mineral Baked Eyeshadow in Bronze Fire on the outer corner of my eye and blended up into the crease and through the middle part of the eyelid. Depending on the depth of colour you like, add and blend until you are happy. Through the crease I used Maybelline Miner Powder Bronzer. This was swept the whole from inner corner to outer corner to create the contour this eye look needed.
I have brown eyes and wanted to make them pop so I used the NYX Eye/Eyebrow pencil in 929 Moss on the top lash line. This was winged out at the end but remember it doesnt have to be neat as I blended the Green to soften the line and create more depth to the outer corner of the eye. I also used the same colour under my lower last line and again blended this to soften it.
On my eyebrows I used the Essence Eyebrow Designer Pencil in 02 Brown and very gently filled in where it was needed. I curled my eyelashes and applied Rimmel London Scandaleyes Mascara in Extreme Black.
Onto the lips... I lined my lips with Essence lipliner in 08 Red Blush then filled the lips in. I used a brush to apply my lipstick so the two colours (lipliner and lipstck) could blend together and be more precise. The lip colour I decided to use was Essence lipstick in 01 Coral Calling.
To finish this look off I used only 3 other products. The first was the Maybelline Mineral Powder Bronzer then Savvy by DB Blush in Cherry and to finish off the look I used Nude by Nature Soft Focus Illuminator.
This look was very easy to achieve and as a working mum of two small children, easy is what I need. The cost of cosmetics can be very high here in Australia and not everyone has mac products or the Pro brands I use in my kit. I do prefer the high quality products for professional use but I love these drugstore products too. What are your favourite products?
